Paper forest "Sounds of Silence™" by Petra Eichler & Susanne Kessler

Abstraction from a forest, cut out of pieces of Tyvek. The deeper you enter the forest, the more suspense you experience as a result of deformed bird calls and animals coming up.

The installation works with the silent strengths from the fragile. The forest looks fragile as it is made out of paper. Coming near something fragile makes us behave more carefully: we walk more slowly and stay more silently.
