Dakar meets Droog

Droog presents its work in the Galerie Nationale d’Art in Dakar, Senegal. The official opening took place during the Queen’s Day reception on April 30th.
‘Droog Dakar, l’Innovation néerlandaise par Droog Design’; the first Dutch Design presentation in Western Africa, showed works with clear concepts and innovative solutions by designers like Marcel Wanders, Hella Jongerius, Gijs Bakker, Arnout Visser and Jurgen Bey. Accompanying the exhibition, Gijs Bakker led a workshop (May 17th-19th) for fifteen designers from Senegal.
