Tableau Tablecloth by Maurice Scheltens
Maurice Scheltens
Tableau Tablecloth, 2005
Using the photogram technique, photographer Scheltens creates this tablecloth decorating it with the silhouettes of the aftermath of a dinner party. Maurice Scheltens creates still lives with different objects: from remote controls and fruits to haute couture dresses. The monochrome design makes all the details of the objects fade and we see only the recognizable outlines.
Tableau Tablecloth is a part of the Philadelphia Museum of Art collection.
