The Table for One design by Droog and KesselsKramer was part of the larger Singletown project presented in 2008 at the Venice Biennale architectural edition. This collaboration introduced an abstract interpretation of a town for single people, also featuring innovative products for singles.
Table-for-one is a restaurant designed expressly for single people. You dine at your table, alone, lessening the pressure for restaurant dining to be a social experience. Once a week, the restaurant hosts Random Date Night, where customers pick a number and are randomly assigned to a table with another single.
